Workshop Proposals : WORKSHOP IDEAS; School Banner - Each student creates their own artwork from recycled carrier bags. The individual pieces are then ironed together to create a patchwork transparent quilt type effect that can hang in communal spaces.
Building and sculpting - An opportunity to combine carrier bags with wire, yoghurt pots, etc to build structures and installations exploring space. Option to use blow torch to melt plastic.
Exploring Language - students have the task of cutting out words and letters from recycled carrier bags to make poems, crosswords, sentences to express particular themes.
