Workshop Proposals : Glass and Mosaics: Workshop 1: Make a stained glass window for a specific site working to a theme with a group of about 6 for 2 - 3 days. Suggested themes - my school, a memorable school trip, school emblem or my town. Days 1-2- exploring & developing a theme visually, exploring artistic techniques to apply to glass i.e. colour, composition, painting techniques, making a group design - colour & decorate, then choose glass.
Day 3 I precut glass or the group do simple glass cutting depending on ability, practice glass painting techniques, paint glass for panel working from cartoon.
Day 4 Assemble panel? Install panel?
Workshop 2: Glass mosaics for group of up to 25 lasting 1 - 2 days, all ages, to work on a group theme or individually. Day 1 - 2 looking at design, use of glass, colour, light, choosing what to make or planning how a group will work together on a piece. Glass Tessarae can be precut or not depending on groups abilities.
Individual pieces could be sun-catchers, a vase, lampshade, tile, or a group could produce a window panel.
Workshop 3: Fused Glass pendants or hanging pieces, 1 day workshop, all ages, using inclusions, coloured glass, frits, paints (take work to fire and return).

1999 NVQ Level 3 assisting artform development sessions, Wysing Art Cambs.  
Exhibitions : 2006/07 Exhibited with Cambridge Open Studios
2005 Solo Exhibition at Art-D.co.uk Cambridge
2008 Solo exhibition at Williamsart, Cambridge
Private commissions, include Chilford Hall, Art-D.co.uk.

General Art & Craft tutor and workshop leader for special needs group including physically disabled. Elderly and Special Needs School
